At the beginning of 2019, we welcomed change as we moved from our original retail home to a new location on Fountain Ave. With the move, we met shoppers who had never been to our store before and we were seeing the same shopper more than once a week! History behind the "Champion City"
The first Champion. Our namesake, the Champion City, originates from the history of the agricultural empire, the Champion Reaper Company, which put Springfield, Ohio on the map in the mid 1800's. William Whiteley invented the Champion reaper and mower- revolutionizing the agricultural community and industry. The manufacturing of the reaper / mower added an economic boom to Springfield, making our city a comparable location to Chicago. Story Behind The Crow
Champion City Guide + Supply moved from our original location in the Tuttle Building to a new home at 36 North Fountain in the beginning of 2019. As we began a new venture with Champion City, we felt it was the right time for a brand refresh. We worked with our close partner, Andy Hayes / Hucklebuck Design Studio, to create a new graphic for our latest CCGS endeavor - thus, the crow.
